Below is a collection of two-sentence stories I wrote. Planning for this to become a trend on this site along with Netflix Dumpster Dive, book related content, and longer-form short stories.
SWALLOWED
Juxtaposed against the black of midnight, its white flesh towers over her. She cannot move or scream, only quiver as its jaw stretches to twice her height.
INFESTED
Hundreds of red eyes glow: they are small, but undoubtedly visible in the darkness. Try as we might, we could never stop all of them.
BREAKING THE SILENCE
His spine shuddered as the silent room became ever so slightly less silent. At first each whisper was alone, fleeting, but soon there was a flurry, and then a blizzard, chilling him to the bone.
TRIUMPH
Plumes of ash fill the sky, and smoke their lungs. However, the waste on which they stand will no longer be contested.
Thank you for reading. This is a small collection, but they were written over the last couple weeks intermixed with other work I’ve been doing. Future collections will most likely be longer, and will probably have more thematic similarities with each story in their respective posts. Feel free to follow if you want to read more, and check out my books in the link on top of the site. My Twitter can also be found here.
